"Ger∂ur" is an Icelandic-inspired sweater with a pretty and feminine flower pattern, decorative fair-isle details and a slightly oversize design.

We knit Ger∂ur sweater in our soft 100% organic merino wool held together with 1 strand . Resulting in a luxurious and wonderful sweater, with a beautiful fluffy color pattern.

You work with 2 strands held together throughout. 

Recommended needles: 4 and 4.5 mm / US 6 and 7

Please note! It is important that your gauge remains the same in both stockinette stitch and in the pattern. You may need to adjust your needle size in either to maintain the same gauge.

Gauge:
21 sts and 29 rows in stockinette st on needle size 4 ½ / US 7 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches

Procedure:
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. First, the yoke is worked with short rows and increases, and then in the round with increases in Fair-Isle pattern. Finally, the piece is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.
